June 4, 2016 EldoraPR Dirt Late Model Dream, Dirt Late Models, Press Releases Three Day Dream Presented By Ferris Mowers Takes Place June 9-10-11; Tickets Available Starting at Just $20 ROSSBURG, Ohio (June 3, 2016) – Friday’s #Lot5Landrush kicks off Dirt Late Model Dream Week, one of the most exciting race weeks of the year at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Cars, trucks and campers began lining up on Sunday night, May 29 and tonight they will head to Camping Lot 5 to mark off their camping spots for the Dream. It’s a long standing tradition that many fans enjoy as part of race week as camping Lot 5 is the free lot. Ticket information can be found at www.eldoraspeedway.com or by calling (937) 338-3815. Randy Ray Grimes, from Connersville, Indiana, was eighth in line during the 2015 World 100. This time, he is first and ready to pick his coveted spot in Lot 5. “I was here for the Johnny Appleseed Classic on Sunday,” said Grimes. “I camped out during the weekend and then got here and took my spot. I just want to get a decent spot over there by where we like to camp. I’m excited about it. I brought my wife (Stacy) and my stepson (Yusuf) and our dog.” He parked at Eldora all week, enjoying the sights and sounds of Eldora Speedway. “I was at the season opener and then the race on Sunday,” Grimes said. “That’s the only races I’ve got to see this year. I’m here for this race and then I always come back for the World 100. I’ve only missed that once in 26 years. It was 2003 and I listened on the internet and that’s when Dan Schlieper beat Scott Bloomquist.” And who does he think we will the dream? “I don’t know,” Grimes said. “(Jonathan) Davenport is pretty good and he won both big events last year. It’s just fun for us to come out there. I like the friendly drivers. I just hope it’s a great race.” About Eldora Speedway: Since carved from a cornfield in the natural amphitheater that existed between the Eldora Ballroom and the Wabash River by bandleader Earl Baltes in 1954, Eldora Speedway has grown to be a frontrunner in motorsports growth and stability.
