The Eldora Speedway family extends its condolences to the Economaki family on the loss of Chris.  A true legend of the sport has been lost with this; the passing of the dean of motorsports.  His National Speed Sport News, with his Editor’s Notebook column, was the trademark by which all other media was judged.   His knowledge of the sport and genuine personality touched and influenced the lives and careers of many – drivers, owners, mechanics, fans, business leaders, and countless more.
