DTWC COMPETITOR DETAILS

PLEASE READ THROUGH THE FOLLOWING SET OF COMPETITOR NOTES PERTAINING TO THE DIRT TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND.

THE PRE-ENTRY FORM FOR SUPER STOCKS, MODIFIEDS AND STEEL BLOCKS IS LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

STAGING / PITS

 

SUPER STOCKS
Staging Locations:
Staging opens at 9:00 AM on Wednesday. Begin staging in the Northside lot.  Enter off of North Star Rd (see map above). Watch for signs.
Pit Parking Locations:
Pending car count numbers, the goal is park all Modifieds in the infield. We will park any early arriving Modifieds from 3-5 pm on Wednesday. Pit passes will not be required on Wednesday, but we’d strongly advise that you purchase them then, especially if your team plans to stay in the infield overnight. Anyone without a pit pass on Thursday morning will be cleared out of the infield during the security sweep.The upper pit area will be used for overflow Modified parking, if necessary. Following the completion of the Thursday racing program, ALL haulers must vacate the upper pit area. Any Super Stock that wishes to stay on property for the duration of the weekend will need to park in the Northside lot. Watch for signs when moving back across the road.

DIRTCAR MODIFIEDS
Staging Locations:
Staging opens at 9:00 AM on Wednesday. Begin staging in Lot 2.  Enter off of driveway one on North Star Rd (see map above). Watch for signs. Once Lot 2 area fills up, we’ll begin parking in the Lot 1 area. If both of those areas fill up before we begin moving Modifieds inside at 3pm on Wednesday, we’ll start a line in the Northside lot next to the Super Stocks.Once we get all Modifieds through the gates on Wednesday, we’ll start the staging process over for all remaining Modifieds that arrive late Wednesday and into Thursday. Begin staging in Lot 2, then Lot 1, followed by the Northside lot.

STEEL BLOCKS
Staging Locations:
Staging opens at 5:00 PM on Wednesday. Begin staging in the Northside lot.  Enter off of North Star Rd (see map above). Watch for signs. All Steel Blocks will stage in this lot.
Pit Parking Locations:
Pit parking for Steel Blocks will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday. Pit passes go on sale at 9:00 AM. We highly recommend purchasing your passes before pit gates open. Eldora golf cart shuttles will crews from Northside up to the pit registration and back.Due to pit space requirements of other divisions, it will not be possible to pit any Steel Blocks on Wednesday or Thursday. All Steel Blocks will be pitted in the upper pit area and upper pit overflow.

LUCAS OIL LATE MODEL DIRT SERIES
Staging Locations:
Staging opens at 5:00 PM on Wednesday. Begin staging in the Northside lot.  Enter off of North Star Rd (see map above). Watch for signs. We’ll begin moving lines from Northside over to trackside on Thursday morning.
Pit Parking Locations:
Pit parking for Super Late Models begins at 10:00 AM on Friday. Pit passes go on sale at 9:00 AM. We highly recommend purchasing your passes before pit gates open. Eldora golf cart shuttles will crews from Northside up to the pit registration and back.Due to pit space requirements for other divisions, it will not be possible to pit any Super Late Models on Wednesday or Thursday. Super Late Models will be parked in the infield, with the upper pits used for any overflow needs.

MINORS

 

AGE TO RACE:
Minimum age to race at Eldora Speedway is 16 years of age by the day of the event. No exceptions.

PIT AREA RESTRICTIONS:
Minimum age to access the pit area at Eldora Speedway is 14 years of age. Minors 14, 15, 16 or 17 years of age must submit a Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement signed by a parent (or legal guardian). If the waiver is not signed in the presence of an Eldora Speedway official, it must be notarized. That form can be downloaded HERE. All minor pit passes and minor pit pass upgrades must be processed at Gate 4. Minor waivers will not be accepted at any other ticket office or ticket window on property.

DRIVER/OWNER CHILDREN:
Eldora is currently running a pilot program called ‘MVP’ – the Driver Minor Vest Program. In this program, a participant’s child is permitted in the pit area – provided certain rules and procedures are followed. This program is open to children of participants and car owners only. ENTRY FORM

 

PRE-ENTRY FOR THE DTWC IS NOW OPEN. PRE-ENTRY IS OPEN TO THE FOLLOWING DIVISIONS:

  • SUPER STOCKS ($25 Pre-Entry / $50 Day of Show)
  • DIRTCAR MODIFIEDS ($50 Pre-Entry / $100 Day of Show)
  • STEEL BLOCKS ($50 Pre-Entry / $100 Day of Show)

There is no Eldora Pre-Entry for the Super Late Models. That registration will be handled by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
