A storm front with extremely high-winds hit Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio this afternoon. At approximately 3:51 p.m., Speedway official Jonathon Bateman captured an intense gust take down one of the track’s light poles. No one was injured. Eldora, which is owned by three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart, has already started repairs and tomorrow night’s fireworks show and racing program will be take place as scheduled.
